Not to take anything away from the lovely Mrs. but that is one beautiful ride. Do you still have it?tuckerrnr1 wrote:

Mines a 340. Here's a pic from many years ago just after overhaul and detailing. Was still waiting on the new air cleaner decal at the time.godsfist wrote:Very nice rides, both of you. What engine do you have?

Damn... i'm very disappiointed that no one offered a trade or tried to sabotoge Santa in order to get the cookies and milk that were melting so percariously propped on my ass. I'm very disappointed in my thread followers

A very, very nicely done detail job Mr. Tucker. Your attention to detail is evident in manifold ways.
+1 on the anti-corrosion washers. The best thing since sliced bread for a top post battery. Wish I had bought a couple dozen packs when I had the auto parts store....they're getting harder to find. And the OEM zig-zag vinyl dipped battery hold down. Repro battery too.......
And the constant tension hose clamps......most people cuss them, but they don't leak after a new hose shrinks up a bit.
A/C was not common in 1968 outside of the luxury car class.....you have the V-2 compressor....is it factory, or did you "add" factory air 20+ years after the fact? The clamp on the radiator support is the type used by Chrysler back then.
All-in-all.....Jolly good show old chap!!

There are just some of us that even though we have the occasional............OK, OK, CONSTANT unpure thought, for the better part of valor refrain from unseemly comments. This may be due in no small part, to the fact that your Santa has mucho toys of, if not mass destruction, at least individual destruction........and that's the kind the readership here is most concerned with. After all, jousting and dueling are so out of fashion these days, leaving nothing but direct retribution.
I know I speak for all here when I say that we always look forward to your latest post. (stockings and heels, hint, hint)
