That comment wasn't inferring any AAC love, it was just a "F--k you" to Gemtech. They can suck nuts, they're a bunch of whining bitches. And they cost us all more money in taxes.bigbigpig wrote:Ah yes... that's what this site has been missing. Nice to see some Gemtech-hate to balance out the obsessive AAC-love.
It will affect you should your tube ever get damaged or should you want a can reamed out to a larger caliber, it will be a $200 additional tax to you.bigbigpig wrote:I'll have to go back and read about this I guess. I read a little bit of it and couldn't find where it affects me at all... only manufacturers.
If I could assure they wouldn't meddle w/the law and make it harder for others, I'd bring up the fact that a suppressor is a "firearm", and can be registered as multiple calibers, just like MEGA does on their AR lowers, they're marked as "Multi" caliber.
Gemtech fucked everyone, and to that I say F--k them.

I would fully expect the manufacturer to pay for the extra 2 bills if there is a flaw that causes damage to the tube. I suppose if I blew it up myself I would have to pay the tax. I'll probably be struck by lightning before I blow up a silencer though. I'm just a semi-auto recreational shooter. Rambo is probably upset about this new regulation.04hemi wrote:It will affect you should your tube ever get damaged or should you want a can reamed out to a larger caliber, it will be a $200 additional tax to you.

Not just Rambo... I'm a shooter that tries to train with a pistol and carbine as much as I can and I know that any rifle silencer will end up with some sort of endcap ding. It could be from an SBR, funky ammo or any host of reasons. The fact is this "Gemtax" hurts us all. Even though ammo is expensive $200 will still buy you a decent amount of ammo to shoot. I'd rather spend that money on something I can use instead of a shitty tax that someone cried to momma about. The government takes enough from us and I'd rather see that $200 in your pocket and not in the ATFs.bigbigpig wrote:I would fully expect the manufacturer to pay for the extra 2 bills if there is a flaw that causes damage to the tube. Well there are a few reasons why "baby dicks" are the clear choice for this application.Deoje wrote:Why baby dicks and not large elephant or at least donkey dicks?DEVIL DOC wrote:ArevaloSOCOM wrote:Add me to the F*ck Gemtech gangbang.
SWR, AAC, Degroat & KAC here.
Yeah! Gemtech can eat a bag of baby dicks!
1. BD's are like bean bag munitons they are less lethal in terms of choking hazards.
2. It allows them to respond with a mouth full.
3. Elephant dicks are being used on another thread I believe.
4. Donkey dicks went out of style months ago. people are always looking for the newest and best and bigger is not "always" better. Ask GnR he has a baby dick and loves it.
5. BD's can be served in a variety of flavors, zesty honey mustard, buffalo wing blast, and country BBQ.
As you can see BD's can be a true crowd pleaser.
