Perfect gun for testing 9mm cans

Post by Mongo »

Was digging through the safe today and I found my TC Contender with custom 9mm barrel made by Tim Bixler of SCRC. Its threaded 1/2X28 and would be great to test 9mm cans since there is really no gun action noise. With a 3 lug adapter you could test the MP5 cans also. Robert if you want to use it I can send it to ya. If you have a TC contender already that's even better since I could receive the barrel directly back from you with out having to go through a dealer here and another 4473.

That's probably the perfect platform for pure sound testing but I think function of a common autoloader is important as well. Maybe test sound on the TC and function fire on autos?

I think that is a great idea. How long is the barrel?

A 16" Contender barrel would be cool too.
