Tac 16 on 22-250

Post by jimmym40a2 »

Got me an AAC m2000 for my AR (love it) so I decided to put my tac 16 on my 22-250. super quiet. It was 3 degrees at the range-(stinkin cold....brrrrr) here is the video. It's not rated for 22-250 but it's built like a tank and full auto rated so it will handle it. This is a full power load (80 grainer 3100 fps)

Range is a private one near Brighton and I took my hat off to take a few shots. I don't turn my hat backward and look like a dork.

I was looking up ranges the other day and probably saw that one. I'd like to join a private range when I get the chance.

Suppressed 22-250

Post by HAL »

There ought to be a law against suppressing the 22-250 .... I been running my old American Manufacture Triple-X WARRIOR on my 22-250 for maybe 4yr now...

22-250 shooting costs have went up considerably since doing this, as I shoot it more now. Hornady bullets, typical load of 36gr powder (1lb bottle not go very far).

As of late, I been taking those large "MONSTER" drink cans with the screw on top (co-worker gives them to me), fill them with water, and put out at 100yd, them cans explode when hit with a 50gr V-Max make a loud pop when they explode, like a pistol shot in the distance, nothing from the rifle.
