shooting at gun store

Post by tylermtech »

I was at the gun store today to check on my form 4, and some one in the shooting range in the back shot them self. (I think on accident) The store called 911 and a bunch of people were freaking out. I and numerous others left as to not get in the way.

I hope the guy was OK

This is kind of a strange pointless post, I guess it reinforces the reason to be safe.

Wades in Bellevue WA had 2 people kill themselves with range guns on a one month period a few years back. Now to shoot there you have to be in a group of 2 or more. Theory is that people in groups don't commit suicide.

Same thing happened at a range in Pasadena, Tx. A woman rented a gun and shot herself on the range. Guys didn't find her till closing time.
This is my Shield. I bear it before me in battle, but it is not mine alone. It protects my brother on my left. It protects my city. I will never let my brother out of its shadow, nor my city out of its shelter. I will die with my shield before me, facing the enemy.

It sucks for the guys running the ranges. I bet they really get hassled over it.

As for the people shooting themselves... meh. They're just dicks. Do it in your own home, or go jump in a lake.

Ugh. It an accident followed by horror, or just bang-bang?

Wades should change their name to the Aokigahara Gun Shop.

Nope, murder-suicide IIRC.

A local range had a suicide a few years back. A guy that had a handgun on layaway asked to take it out on the range. I think there were 4 other people firing at the time. The guy loaded his revolver and fired one round that passed through his head and through the ceiling and he dropped dead on the spot. On the up side (if possible) he only took his own life and not any bystanders.

I never really questioned who was firing next to me until that happened.
