I thought I remember reading somewhere that 2 was just supposed to fit more applications by removing leading and trailing edges. But, idk.

AFG2 looks like something that has some movement in the design.

The AFG2 will fit on more rails systems. The original had some issues going on certain rails I guess, because of the "ears."
