Case For Serbu Super Shorty
I did some searching around on the net and a few forums and I'm not coming up with too many options for carrying my Serbu Super Shorty. What are you guys using other than a holster?

I've seen a guy on Gunbroker that makes a set up. You can always talk to Battlecloth, he may make something up for you.
Re: Case For Serbu Super Shorty
I saw a thigh rig at Knob Creek a couple of years ago but I haven't any idea who made it. Sorry
It was cool though

Mine will fit inside one of those large green military tool bags (thats what I use). In fact, it'll fit in there while holstered.
I'll post a pic this afternoon (when I get off work) if you want.

Re: Case For Serbu Super Shorty
Here is what I carry my SHF KEG 12 in:
I keep mine holstered for transport as it provides an extra layer of finish protection betweeen it and all the other s--t I have in my bag.
The bag is large enough for the holstered KEG 12 and a walmart 100 pack of 12 gauge shells and has plenty of room to spare. I cram it so full of s--t at times its almost too heavy to carry.
Here it is all zipped up. What I like about it is that it doesn't look like something that someone would normally carry a gun in.

Re: Case For Serbu Super Shorty
I carry my Mossberg/Safety Harbor KEG12 in this: a Camelback M.U.L.E. in woodland camo.
I had mine mil surplus but they sell retail for like $65. I took out the hydration bladder and the short shotty JUST fits in the large main compartment. It will also take a broken down Cold Steel Spike tomahawk in there as well. The small upper pouch holds 45 shells in elastic cards. The lower pouch holds a Glock 19 in kydex holster, 3 spare mags, Surefire G3 LED light, a CRKT M16 folding knife and a very compact trauma kit.
It's the perfect 'lil bug-out bag. I've managed to fit a metric ton of firepower in that small pack. Yea, it's a bit heavy.
The only thing I would do differently would be to look for a more 'civilian' color so it blends in the urban environment better.

Are you referring to carrying as in carrying or carrying as in transporting?cardboardkiller wrote:I did some searching around on the net and a few forums and I'm not coming up with too many options for carrying my Serbu Super Shorty. What are you guys using other than a holster?
I'm working on a new line of custom cut cases.
Here's a sample of some of the stuff we've done, so you can see a Serbu SS shouldn't be a problem.

Re: Case For Serbu Super Shorty
I use a OD green soft case that I bought for the Thompson Center Contender pistol, it fits nicely, protects the Serbu and even has 2 pockets to hold shells and what-not.
Works perfectly for the MP5 as well.
Best $30 I spent!

I'm looking for something for transport, but I'd rather not get into a case that cost half as much as the gun.GoingQuiet wrote:Are you referring to carrying as in carrying or carrying as in transporting?cardboardkiller wrote:I did some searching around on the net and a few forums and I'm not coming up with too many options for carrying my Serbu Super Shorty. I've looked at those, but I wasn't sure if it would fit. Thanks!Bendersquint wrote:I use a OD green soft case that I bought for the Thompson Center Contender pistol, it fits nicely, protects the Serbu and even has 2 pockets to hold shells and what-not.

I've only been able to handle the gun for a bit, so I'm doing this kinda blind. I picked it up from the dealer on the way home from a month long job out of town and then I had to fly out the next morning. I'm stuck here in New Jersey for another week and a half or so.

Re: Case For Serbu Super Shorty
I will post a picture in the next day or so of it in the case and outside, for reference and if there are any markings on the case I will post that as well so you can find one if you go that route.
You will enjoy it for sure.

I am in the same boat, looking for a case for the Serbu. I have the holster from SKT Industries coming. I was looking at the Maxpedition R19 just don't know if there is enough width? Ideas???

Totally forgot about this thread so here is a pic of the Serbu inside the Thompson Center case. Case also doubles as my MP5 case as it fits perfectly!Shea wrote:I am in the same boat, looking for a case for the Serbu. I have the holster from SKT Industries coming. Bendersquint,
Case looks nice, do you think a Maxpedition R19 would work? Looks long enough, just don't know about the width.

Re: Case For Serbu Super Shorty
Way too long and its thin enough to see a clear outline of the Serbu contained within.Shea wrote:Bendersquint,

The T/C case was about 25 bucks if i recall right and has 2 outside pockets for shells, forms, car keys and of course the sling for the SSS.

Link to Case For Serbu Super Shorty?
Guys, what is the manufacturer of the Serbu OD case shown here? Does not look like the current Thompson Contender case... so can anyone post a link for me to buy one?
Thanks much.

Re: Case For Serbu Super Shorty
That looks alot like the case, it probably is.
The retailer I bought mine from had it marked with a T/C tag on it, selling it as a Contender/Encore case.
He happens to sell A LOT of Allen cases so I bet its the same, he must have marked it AS a T/C case.

I like Banshee's case.
If it doesn't splatter, shatter, burst or explode, it's not worth shooting.

That is awesome... I would love a Serbu with a forend like that. I don't like the vert. grip. Does he do that, or is that a custom forend?

Re: Case For Serbu Super Shorty
Thats a custom forend and I don't believe its a Serbu either. Serbu doesn't put any sights on their AOW's.J Krammes wrote:strobro32 wrote:I like Banshee's case.

Banshee made the gun and the wood grip but as you can see it has a piece missing so I think he's made another by now.
