38 super through a evo9

Like the title says, can it be done safely? I am thinking of buying a race gun in 38 super and would like to thread the barrel so I can put the evo9 on there from time to time. If its a no go, I may as well get the gun in 9mm to cut down on ammo costs and ensure compatibility.

Yes, this can be done safely, as long as you use hearing pro.

38 Super is LOUD! so even with a silencer it WILL NOT be hearing safe.

Now, a 9mm gun really would be a joy to shoot with 147 grain ammo.

Since IPSC allows 9X19 loaded in race guns to Major scoring pressure, few shoot the 38 Super any more.

Alrighty, thats good to know. I decided against buying a race gun anyways, no real use for it at this point. Going to focus my funds towards a noveske ar build.

i love my 38 super race gun! but Mers is right it's loud! no it's beyond loud! I run people off 2 stations over when I shoot mine !
