It took me a while to warm to the RFB, but I now want one. A plastic, screwed together shotgun? That's pushing it.

As long as the breach locks up well, and some type of recoil lug distributes the force around the chassis, it should hold up.

Can the shooter select which tube is fed from? Having 7 slug and 7 buck in the gun would be great.

+1, the guy is obviously a very innovative and talented engineer - the RFB is an amazing design with such short OAL and a decent bullpup trigger, but he must have learned his screw-together construction technique by working for a toy store or something - all of their rifles "feature" this design.

If they employed a military/tactical advisor/engineer and a injection molding specialist, these could be some spectacular products. Could you picture the RFB with a single piece injection molded shell and a mechanism to clear malfunctions? Awesome!

Sorry to back up "mil-spec", but if Kel Tec ever wanted to make something for a government agency, they'd have to do away with the screws.

Also, I work with a guy that has two dual feed 870s. He does it himself. Says some PDs had him make some. So I guess it works and isn't completely new.

I fucking hate HATE KT everything they touch that i have had anything to do with is s--t yet I absofuckingluely love this and the RFB concept. If this and the RFB prove to be worth a s--t I will have to own both. Yet the customer service and product quality I have seen so far is s--t, worse than s--t.
