My form left the dealer in mid October. I am still impatiently waiting.
Spring fever doesn't help much either! Hope your wait is less than mine, its driving me nuts!!

Dang that's five months. My first can took 6 months but that was back in 2003. I just send my form 4 back to the transfer dealer. He's waiting on form 3 approval. I thought things were supposed to be faster, 4-6 weeks.

No look at his dates again, he didnt actually mail the form until December 27, he ordered it in October.

I signed and returned mine to the dealer about 1 week after you sent yours. Given he didn't drag feet too long, mine should have been sent within 2 weeks of yours. Any idea what day you got it back? My last one was about 12 weeks wait....

Sara Jones is the examiner for C and also V so that's the same examiner that does mine. She only had my form 1 for a week before it cleared. She was "slow" when she got mine, meaning she wasn't busy, so it went pretty quick. I'm sending off a for 4 anyday now with a trust so hopefully it will be the same deal. How do you guys find out when they go pending and hwo they go to as well?? just by looking at you previous stamps?

My last form 4 took just over 9 weeks, it was summer of 2010.
Examiner was Shipman. Wish my pending one was that fast!! and the wait continues.....

I hate to hear that. I'm still waiting on the form 3 to come back so I can send the form 4. I'm pretty aggravated about the whole deal but what to do? Just a few months ago and they were taking 2 months tops. I wonder what gives? A backlog of applications? Or are they having a problems? Intentional slowdown?

My first one back in 2003 took 6 months. Hopefully it won't take that long.

I may have found a BATF superstar; mailed 3 Form 1's for SBR on Dec. 18. The approved forms arrived in today's mail, stamped approved on Feb. 9th. The form was signed by what looks like Dana Pickles. Thank you Dana Pickles!
