We have the 11.5 and 14.5 Enhanced SR-16's
What the heck did CDIH stand for anyway? "Chicks Dig It, Hoss"? Can you tell us any more about the design & it's development? The only pics of it I've ever seen concealed the gas block area, but it looked like it might be a piston design.
Holy cow........................... If there is another tour I will have to be sure I'm stateside and make the trip down. It looks like everyone had a great time. I'm so jealous!!!!!
This was the first time we demo'd the Enhanced SR-16's publically, there have been pictures from shows or us stopping by Grey Group in Bragg, but nothing we really commented on.
We did not have the 5.56mm MAMS or new cans on them for that.

I should have seen the 16 in that post, but somehow I read SR15. Well, I'm actually glad to hear that, it'll save me some money. I'm thinking of getting a rifle length URX III's for one of my SR15's if they're available. Those guns look amazing. My only concern with those rails is that mine get very hot as it is with the rail covers, so I'm wondering if they'll get too hot without the rail covers.
Gloves are an obvious solution, but it get's into the very high 90's with high humidity here in South Texas, so gloves are a last resort.
It seems like the URX III will be closer to the weight of the URX II instead of the LW URX II. Is the URX III set up to accept rail sections as well, or are the permanent ones in the front the only option? I can't really think of a reason that I'd need anything besides what is already there, I'm just curious. If it wasn't for the AFG's I use, the URX III exactly as it's shown would be perfect. It would be great to find a way to mount the AFG like the KAC/Magpul hand stop. It would make for a very thin and streamlined package.
