examiner news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
News from the BATFE:
The NFA Branch will be reassigning examiners by geographical location. they are currently organized alphabetically by the transferor's last name or the name of the entity. This appears to be a efficent move. It will allow the examiners to specialize in each state's laws. I hope that it creates smoother transfers for my trust cients.
This realignment will be effective on July 1, 2011.

I would urge everyone to please go to http://www.NFATracker.com and fill out the stats for your items. You can also review details of other transfers and reports on average number of days for each examiner. Then we can all easily see how long it's taking and how screwed we are if we get stuck with a slow examiner for good

Many people say that Sandra is slow, but she was faster for me than Jason.
Can't we combine this thread with the one the Major posted before this one?

My bad, I put https instead of just http. The link I changed to (in this post and my above post) should work.Wahnsinn wrote:I would urge everyone to please go to http://www.NFATracker.com and fill out the stats for your items. Snook has been very consistent for my SOT. She was quicker with my suppressors than Dudash was with my SBR.

I'm going to believe that all examiners work diligently and that one has historically been faster than another due to workload. [until proven otherwise].

Well that fucking sucks... looks like I will forever more be stuck with the slowest examiner employed by the ATF Christina Farris

That is awesome, I would have William Shipman- last one he did for me was 77 days from the time I shipped the forms off to the day I picked it up at the dealer's.

Yea, on my second with the hag, will be three months pending on fireworks day. Last one was darn near four months pending.Alangaq wrote:Well that fucking sucks... looks like I will forever more be stuck with the slowest examiner employed by the ATF Christina Farris

Thanks for the info! Sarah was the examiner I had for my second (and fastest, to date) transfer. I think you're in good hands with her!Psycho_Smurf wrote:Worked great for us, very helpful and friendly every time we had to contact on him.FSCJedi wrote:Dana, anyone? Good? Bad?

Sandra Snook took care of my SBR Trust paperwork back in '08, if I remember correctly it was 59 days back to me from when it hit the mailbox flap.
No problems.
