I think I may have found a mass produced tool that will work and is also inexpensive I'll order one today and post results when i receive it. might start a new thread then so we can get back to bitchin about new end caps on this one.

Any update? My end cap just got stuck so tight on my 10/22 that I broke a strap wrench trying to get it off. Soaking in kroil did the trick eventually.
But I digress. I need the new end cap. As of right now, my end cap either gets stuck on the host, or is way too tight on the tube and impossible to disassemble.

We have done a few Element endcaps/mounts since these problems started showing up.
If AAC isn't able to get you taken care of we can.
We replace the mount with a Ti mount so you don't notice the weight increase. Ours is also bonded to the tube so you don't have issues with it sticking to the barrel.

A bonded cap makes a pain to clean and putting the baffles back together. I would make so it takes the rod to align and the cap locks or just grab the cap when taking off barrel!
I like the looks of the new one better but this was the only good thing!

We don't have to have ours bonded though, just have to design it a little differently, then you can use your tool to remove it off a stuck barrel. We would make it work directly with the original Element tool.
Bender, how much are you charging for a similar solution? You jail broke a can for me and I was happy with the service. Ive been lost in aac customer service hell before and just weighing options.
