ATF continued.......

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Got an odd call this week. A can I ordered back in January (I think, I forget) finally showed up at the distributor. The Form 3 was submitted in January according to the date, and approved earlier this month. It was three months from the dates he gave me. Now it's got to go from him to the local dealer.

So, moral of this little story? Don't count on Form 3s being fast. I forgot to ask who signed the F3, but since the company was AWC, it was probably Lamburger.

Anybody familiar with Examiner Jason Frushour? Just wondering if he is one of the faster or slower processors. Mine went pending on 4/7 and I was really hoping to have this to take with me on a shooting trip May 14.

Frushour's done a couple for me, last one was earlier this year. He's usually fairly fast. Does good work.

That's promising. As I understand it, all of my current Form 4s will likely go through him since they are all coming from the same dealer.

Just slightly over one year from slapping my money on the counter!

This is my seventh NFA toy. This is my third NFA transfer that took over a year. This is the first and last time I will buy from someone outside of my state.

Holy s--t man. I don't know if you just have rotten luck in general, but that's ridiculous. I bought a machinegun out of state transferring on a Form 4 back in August and had it in my hands in March. I actually dawdled on submitting the last set of papers. Sounds like whoever you buy from out of state is dicking you good.
