Father shoots son by mistake - thinking burgler.

Post by silencertalk »

CNN perspective:

He *was* a burglar, and had a knife - and lunged:

Did his 15 year old son sneak out of the house at 1am?

Was he just playing a prank trying to scare his aunt? If so, why lunge at his armed father?

Going by what I read in the NY daily news the step-son was holding a knife up.
Tyler Giuliano, wearing a black mask and clutching a knife, was apparently breaking into his aunt’s home next door when he was gunned down by his dad early Thursday.

"He confronted the suspected burglar, clad in black and wearing a mask, and opened fire when he lunged at him with a knife, authorities said."

So I'd say the kid asked for it.

If you look you will see that some kids are killing their parents and grandparents. ( I question the parenting skills of the deceased.)
Demand stringent background and mental health checks on your politicians.

Let it go Johnny, Let it go. We have a society of very ignorant people out there that just can't connect the dots sometimes.

WHAT WILL IT TAKE FOR US TO PUT SERIOUS GUN CONTROL LAWS ON THE BOOKS?? HOW MANY MORE INNOCENT DEATHS WILL IT TAKE????
We don't know he was innocent. All we know is he was breaking into a house with a knife.

The kid was recently adopted - he met his new father at school.

What about knife control laws?

They're pretty popular in Europe, a pocket knife in Italy you're not allowed to carry a pocket knife unless you have a "legitimate reason".
