Re: Can I get items off my corporation for free?
Thanks, but that would still require a $200 tax per gun to transfer. But your post made me call my state and ask if I could convert my LLC to a non-profit corporation. They said that it could be merged into one, and then the LLC dissolved. They said it would have the same name, but it would not be ...

Re: Panera guy thinks food stamps are not enough?
I agree with the concept of providing food for the hungry, one way or another. No issue with it.It SHOULD be a shitty life though. I think the food stamp elgible foods should be one small section, all off brands, and just the staples. I'm sorry this d-bag has trouble with it. Honestly he'd probably ...

I wonder if a 10/22 bolt could be modded to do this and not be recoil operated.

Re: The Continuing Saga of Don Williams, ATF Agent
Sorry but 70 shows in Two years is a dealer / business. They asked him to stop and he didn't. You can call it a hobby business but by any rational measure he was in the business of buying / selling firearms I don't care if it was a business and I don't care if he was. Ever hear of this?: A well reg...

Re: PWS Summit T3
Picking up a PWS Summit T3 next week and was wondering if anyone here had any experience with them? It appears to pretty much give you the modular nature of the 10/22 with a Toggle Action making it as quiet as a Bolt Action. I'm looking forward to putting it thru the paces. Hope it takes off and Sa...

Nice guys don't destroy harmless people's lives over trivial s--t that shouldn't be against the law and is, in fact, quite permissible under the 2nd Amendment. But then they are cops, and goons, etc... Sorry but 70 shows in Two years is a dealer / business. They asked him to stop and he didn't. You...

It retains quite a bit of the energy, but its a rainbow trajectory. Zeroed at 300 it would be about 3' high at 100.

Re: Federal reciprocity added to the background check bill?
My disgust with the universal background check is that it will only impact people who are not the issue. Gray/Black market FTF transfers will go on undetected. The only way to maybe address this is universal registration. A different but related question.... Is there anybody that is unfit to own a g...

Re: Looking into a R700 build... any downsides of 22" 1:8 tw
Just FYI, the 155 Palma bullets (I.E Scenar) are LONGER than the 168/175 MK bullets.
You are basically approaching 260 performance without buying a new gun. Like a 260, you will have less barrel life than a 308.
1:10 is still my preference

The 155s are somewhat deceiving because they are so long. They may need a faster twist than a standard 168/175

People who have held immense amounts of power are always trying to avoid a level playing field. I still think the measure of whats adequate for police is adequate for personal defense.

This is why you ought to vet your silencer MFR before diving in. AAC is notorious for selling cars, no wheels.

Its not just banning private sales. The only way to make it enforceable is comprehensive registration.

I saw those yesterday while in line for a MO. Looks like it is basically a savings account with a visa card. They charge monthly fees, allow direct deposit etc.
I don't see how this is their fault.

Had one when 380 was nowhere to be found. Bought a PF-9 instead. Only a few more ounces, better ammo choices and availability. The ruger version, LC-9 seems quite a bit bigger and heavier.

The YHM cans are great particularly because of mount availability and price. I went with SS because durability was > weight on this can as I already have a lighter 308 thread on can.
