Navy suppressor

A while back there was a thread on modifying a current production KAC "Navy" suppressor .40/10mm to .45 using EDM. Did this every happen, or was the project shelved?

Thanks 3. Do you happen to know the part number(s) for a complete bolt assembly for my E3?

I'm interested to know if Pmags are dropping free from these. The T&E gun I had did not allow Pmags to drop free, but it was built on a ban-era leftover lower receiver. I'm assuming (hoping) that KAC opened up the magwell on the new production guns. Mine has released every one of my PMAGS every...

SBR registration question

Does anyone have a definitive answer to this: Since the AR platform is modular and you can mix and match uppers and lowers, how does the ATF look at someone with one registered SBR AR and one 16" AR? Do they see it as two SBR's, one just not in that configuration at the moment? Or am I just bei...

Random thoughts on Wolf... 1) the irony of Wolf is that it's very cheap ammo that runs best in the more expensive guns. Why the more expensive guns? Because they have a proper 5.56 chamber. AFAIK the SR15E3 has such a chamber. Assuming it does, Wolf should serve you well. Just keep the gun well lub...

I've got a training date coming up in about a month and I'll need copious amounts (~2K in three days) of ammunition. Talking to folks I get mixed reviews on Wolf. I know it's dirty, but it's cheap. My biggest worry would be the steel cases. Input, anyone?

3,
you guys have built one heck of a rifle. I absolutely love the ambi controls. Wasn't really one way or the other about them, that is until I had the opportunity to use them. Now I wouldn't want to do without them, given a choice. Thanks again for what you and Casey did to help me get mine.

3, after having an opportunity to shoot my E3 with the ambi controls, I don't think I'd want any other setup. I really, really love the right side bolt release. I would hope that if you do finally do a factory SBR, you would include the ambi controls, or at least make them an option. .02

Shot a carbine only match this weekend, first time I've shot in a match in about 20 years. Ran into friends I haven't seen in almost two decades on the range. They were impressed with how light the E3 was. And a few commented on the fact I haven't lost my accuracy, a little slower, but still center ...

Forgot to say that I really like the ambi-controls, especially the bolt release!
Also, a big thanks to Trey and Casey for the opportunity.
Of course I'm going to be a bit biased, but I think this is one hell of a rifle.

Finally got to go to the range today and sight it in. Lots of two and three round jagged holes as I dialed it in. http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa66/No_6/sightin.jpg No failures in 80 rounds shot. Sighted in following the instructions in the owners manual. Over all, very happy with the rifle. F...

Got my E3 today.

Just picked it up at the FFL. Gotta agree with thedrizzle, it is freakin' light! Full report will follow after I've had a chance to clean it and run a couple of magazines through it.

M855 works the best but we tried to port the rifles to work with a wide variety of commercial ammo. With the current availability problems with 5.56 good ammo that is fairly priced is hard to find.
