Re: Choosing a SMG

Yes and one day we might be saying why did I not buy all the $4000 m11/9's I could have way back in 2013? Honestly I think the Barrett m107 will be one of those guns. Our grandchildren might say really grandpa $10,000 your an idiot for not buying one. I seriously think ONE day these could fetch clos...

Kinda cool SWR will send you a free pair of dog tags

Don't know how long they been doing this so sorry if this is yesterday's news but SWR will send you a free pair of dog tags for registering your SWR silencer. One more small thing that they don't have to do that makes SWR my favorite manufacture. http://www.swrsuppressors.com/registration

Re: CeraKote a can?

What do you guys do about the serial number? I would like to do my Trident in FDE but the engraving is a little thin. I have the SWR trident label before they changed it to the last one before production ended. I believe this was the 2nd Label design out if three I have seen. Any ways I do like the ...

There is no way. 81db is quieter then the action, 72db is just plain false advertising. How can a shotgun with a can be quieter then a red rider BB gun?

I would go with a dedicated 9mm can if that is going to be the primary caliber you shoot. But it's your dime. SWR makes some great cans. Their 9mm cans are just ridiculous.

Re: Thread on can: Best way to keep it from unscrewing

Yes blue loc tite, is your best friend. Although I have not had to use anything on my metric left hand threaded sig 226 (trident9). On my sub gun I use a three lug mount with Teflon tape just because I hardly ever take the three lug mount off but if I do the tape cleans up pretty easy. Just depends ...

Re: What 9mm can should I get?

Can't go wrong with the SWR Octane 9. I have a SWR trident which was replaced by the Octane, and it is quieter then quite a few of the new cans some well respected companies are selling. Only thing is it is not user serviceable (yet) Bindersquirt will be making that happen for me in the very near fu...

Re: Best Suppressor for Full Sized Uzi in 9mm

Swr trident, I love it because it is so versatile greatest 9mm pistol can I have heard, works totally awesome on my m11/9 with the Lage slow fire upper (very similar ROF to your Uzi). I have heard it on my friends Uzi sounds the same. (Disclaimer. I have not heard the new offerings from SWR, Trident...

What would happen if you reported it lost and then later found it, I find it hard to believe the ATF would just say good for you and that would be the end of the matter. I have no idea. But make damn sure you can not find it anywhere. Always expect the unexpected from our friends at the BATFE.

Re: 300 Blackout with 3-lug suppressor mount.

This brings up a good point. So using a three lug from Troy with my trident 9 would not be a good idea on 300blk subsonic? (Ar platform). 1/2x28 buy the way.

Re: What kind of suppressor do you run on your MAC 11?

Swr trident three lug. You must get a lage slow fire max 11 it is required buy law. Okay it should be. Anyways I love the trident quiet not too big and does double duty as a great pistol can, us u can use it on sub sonic 300blk on an ar though there are much better options for that. That being said ...

Also make sure the gas block is lined up properly even off a little will close up the hole. There should be a dimple under the barrel to line up the gas hole with the gas block.

Dont discount the SWR M11/nine. Tons of accesories and a Lage 22lr conversion to boot. A Lage upper is almost a requirement, makes the mac family definetly worth having. I hardly ever shoot it in stock config but I still love to.

For the 10/22 get a polymer bolt rebound bar, also called a buffer, it will help reduce the action noise, they are cheap and easy to install.

Check the carrier key for leaks, check the gas rings. Check the alignment of the gas tube in the upper. What buffer and spring?
