Re: Concealed Carry. Why bother?
Personally, I don't like people knowing I have a gun. Then there's the conversation piece aspect. Inevitably someone will want to talk to you about guns politics or whatever. I don't like talking to people. This is why I avoid wearing shirts with clever sayings or funny pictures. I don't want to tal...

The only other explanation that makes sense to me is whatever mensa candidate handled the equipment to store it and/or set it up for the photograph found a scope cap loose in the drag bag and said to himself "self ... this little flippy thing fits right on the end of this big barrel thing so t...

Re: Shorty 5.56 cans
Thank you guys! That Ops Inc can looks great. I will have to call around and see what's in stock in-state. Since I have my own range at my house the amount of rounds through any of my rifles is more than most. I know there are those that shoot more than I do, but not many. Suppressor wear is a non i...

Mini4, but still need ear pro. Oh I have no delusions about using a moderator, which is what these short cans really are on the 5.56. Still, if you had to shoot a guy in your house, would you want an A2 at the end of your carbine, or a moderator. I think I'd want the moderator on that thar weapon. ...

Not really one! It's the departments money! They will want to see comparisons though. No it's the TAXPAYER's money. If all these PD's own them what is there main use? If a PD owns one I suspect its for budget elevation as to keep the budget as the same as it has been so they might buy one not as a ...

Re: buckmark & swr Spectre 2 vid
Guess I'm just having trouble understanding how its better than the ruger. Ive shot both and my ruger blows the buckmark away in accuracy and trigger feel especially now that theyve got the lite series. Huh. My buckmark camper is probably the most accurate pistol I own. It is far more accurate than...

I'm not surprised it doesn't cycle without the booster. Is the barrel broken in? Anything in the booster loose? Is the booster spring compressed or corroded? Is the piston clean?
Just brainstorming.

I have a cz 452 that came with a 16 inch factory threaded 1/2 x 20 barrel. It's stupid quiet and accurate. They may be hard to find nowadays since they came out with the 455. It's like this one http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=311061879 http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w304/Doc...

Fwiw I have a factory threaded mk III 22/45 that ive been using with my Spectre II for about a week now. Get a (really)strong magnet and the lci is easy to fix. Pull the pin with the magnet and pop off the metal tab that touches the case, then put the lci and spring back in. done. The mag safety is ...

Spectre II baffle orientation
I noticed the baffles come from the factory assembled with the notches all aligned real nice. Not if, but when I reassemble them and have the pear shaped notches all over the place, will the performance change?
