Re: SHOT Show Coverage Thread

The only problem is being able to switch back and forth between shot and slug. Some of the course designers like to make shooters change back and forth a lot in order to neutralize the saiga advantage. OK one last deviation from topic... Wonder if the new "auto" gas regulators would help ...

Re: SHOT Show Coverage Thread

Siaga mags and drums are pretty expensive. not like they used to be, AGPs are like glock mags now, got my last MD20 drum for $75 (cheaper than AK/AR drums) And I've heard plenty of horror stories about siagas running like s--t. Seems plenty of them need a lot of love to get running. You could buy o...

I hope that when he does eventually get it out there is someone nearby who can stop him from immediately putting the cursed cartridge into a pistol and trying to blow his brains out from all the grief this has caused! -urban s--t if he were to try that I hope he'd have enough sense to use som...

I can second ADCO, they did by last bbl very quickly, like a week or two. TT is awesome but sometimes the waiting gets to be be too much. Got my F4 for my .22 can before I got my bbls back.

interesting, although for defense I'd probably be using HPs. Not like that would make a diff to kevlar though.

Re: SHOT Show Coverage Thread

I likewise am pretty hesitant when it comes to brand new guns, but that Kel Tec shotty is a must have for me. That thing is sexy and brilliant. I was considering an 870 or a benelli but to hell with those now. Yeah, who needs quality  Yeah, who needs speculative guesses on the quality of an u...

Rugerglocker, I talk to customers ALL DAY, EVERYDAY - most are interested in user serviceable pistol cans. Bryon Yep and I'm one of em, I bought mine from you a few years ago. And when it's time for another, I'll be talking to you again. Hopefully silencerCo makes that big ass .45 sparrow/cl...

Re: Silencerco Osprey vs SWR Octane-9 9mm Silencer? or ????

Its highly unlikely the Octane is quieter than the Osprey. When you design a can to be taken apart you generally sacrifice a few DBs due to the loosened tolerances to being able to take it apart when dirty. Unless the Octane is another typical SWR or AAC super long silo silencer then maybe it will ...

Re: Silencerco Osprey vs SWR Octane-9 9mm Silencer? or ????

I dont understand why anyone would sacrifice db reduction for user takedown abiltity on anything but the filthy 22 rimfire. Unless you intend to shoot 22 rimfire through your 9mm then its a no-brainer in getting the shorter and quieter Osprey. Even if you do fill up the Osprey with lead head 9mm I'...

Possible to thread Henry Lever Action .22 (H001)?

Anyone know if it's possible to thread one of these (Henry Lever Action .22 (H001)) for a Spectre? Wondering because of the mag tube might get in the way, especially since the Spectre threads are basically flush with the tube, i.e. the threads don't make a "nippled" part that sticks out pa...

OK. Thanks for the reply. Anyone have anymore specifics on a load (detailed recipes please), not a mag primer then? I have noticed most loads are listed for short barrels. .357 Subsonic Through a Rifle

OK maybe this should be in reloading but there's low traffic there. I want to get into reloading for a suppressed .357 mag lever action. I've read just about every thread I could find here about levers/.357s/.38spl, and I'm pretty sure I have the basics down, so I need a few tips on data/recipes. My...

Mike/AAA/Tornado Tech originally told me that the barrel was so thin that he would not do it because of possibility of droop due to the thinness, which could cause baffle strikes?

That looks tempting, did you send the whole S2K to YHM or did you pull the barrel off yourself and send it in? What did they charge you?
