Re: Screw Jim Carrey
Penn and Teller are awesome (anyone notice that Teller had a bit part in Atlas Shrugged part 2?) The only problem is that Penn uses logic and reason when addressing issues, which confounds liberals terribly.

Re: Advice for best 50 bmg suppressor
I have first hand experience with the AWC turbodyne, the AAC Cylops, and the Barrett factory m107 can. The awc is very very heavy, but works pretty well. R.Silvers metered it at the first or second silencer shoot and it was somewhere around 140 at my ear if I remember correctly (on a 29" bbl). ...

If you heat it up a little, it'll come right apart. Nice, quiet little can.

Re: Barrett .50 Can
The only problem is, I don't have any way to mount the Barrett can on anything! Barrett wont sell the muzzle brake unless it is attached to a 107A1! I thought I could shoot it on the bolt action if I had a brake, but its a no-go. I'll sell my 82CQ and get a 107, but it may be a while.

That bolt action is a safety harbor AR upper. Ive fired a .22 through a Bowers .45 CAC on an uzi with a .22 kit. A little FRP, but really very quiet.

Barrett .50 Can
We received our Barrett can yesterday, and it appears to be built very well, and is fairly light for a .50 can. Compared to a Cyclops (I dont have one handy, but have had one in the shop for transfer), it is very similar in weight and design, as well as similar baffles. The Cyclops and Barrett can a...

My blood tests have fallen into line nicely, except for triglycerides, they are still a little high. My hope is that running will pull these into the norm range, but we'll see. Thanks for the advise.

Re: How to get a $3.79 Filet-O-Fish for $2.
Your physical transformation has been inspiring, but I am having a really hard time getting into running. After reading the book "How to Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease" I started a vegetarian diet, and weight fell off of me as a consequence. (I was not overweight, but borderline at 5&qu...

Ditto. I was extremely concerned during and after the debates. My thought was "oh crap were going to nominate the least electable of the bunch..." He basically kept his mouth shut and won by attrition, which WONT work in the general election. Just my POV, YMMV.

I have so many of these stories, I could write a book. Where I am from it is the norm, a point of honor, to "draw a check". The only problem is, when I start to write the stories down, my blood pressure goes up so much that I may end up on disability!

I have one of his uppers, and it runs like a top! better than any other .22 machine gun I have, and I have a bunch. It is an EXTREMELY well made (and thought -out) upper. Very tuneable. Piers really needs to go, I liked him the first week or so, but then his true colors really started to show through. Plus, I am sick of him asking "how many times have you been properly in love?"

Re: Got my first American branded new car.
That is a really good looking car! Ford has always made great looking cars, probably the best of any American manufacturer, but reliability has been hit or miss for me. I purchased a new 2001 lightning (and didn't race it!) and had a cracked piston at 16, 000 miles. I have a few other horror stories...

I have fired in excess of 10K rds of tracer over the last few years, and I can attest to the fact that not only are they fun, but you can set pretty much anything on fire with them, especially .50 tracer. I have always put out fire that I have started, but it is an eye opener. I once fired a 50 trac...

So..... When we found out my wife was pregnant, we did have health insurance, but high deductible, and no maternity coverage. We knew it wasn't going to be pretty, but I had to take a second mortgage to pay the bills! Our bills totaled 32,000$ for a routine pregnancy and unplanned c-sect. By the way...
