I solved my original problem so the extra gas setting should work I installed a cheap rail and it squeezed the gas tube making the piston bind so bad that the original plug wouldn't work. I haven't had time to fix it but will get around to it ...

I welded up the old gas hole and it works the only problem is that my welding skills suck and I cracked the gas plug

1/2 cost replacement they destroyed the tube gave me a new serial # then tranfered to dealer then transfered to me

I got my 7.62SD upgraded to 08 mod but now you have to transfer it again(another $200 and transfers are taking awhile). I would just buy a new one.

I got two when they first came out one for me and one for my brother both guns where jamomatics. Found out allot of the lower serial range guns had problems with chambers being too tight and crooked receivers. We both took a loss and traded them for other guns. My DSA works great

I'm not quite sure what you're saying, but you know the single shots generally have stronger recoil than the 82, right? Or are you just talking about the increased recoil on the 82 suppressed? Yes with the silencer attached to the 82 it's painfull and laying down prone makes it the worst. I'm sure ...

I'm going to try and trade mine for an M95 or maybe sell it and get some kind of single shot.

Since the barrel recoils with each shot the extra weight on the barrel increases the recoil so bad it's hard to shoot it more than 10rnds in a session. I've heard some have broke may just be rumors though.

I'm going to reseal up the factory hole and retry with the new smaller hole. I'll post the results i'm positve it will work.

It's hard to explain but No luck it won't cycle with the new hole on either setting. I guess it made the chamber too large as when the new gas setting was on it put the old gas hole on the top(opposite side) and there is a little space under my front sight post probably making the gas chamber too la...
