I found if you mount and unmount it enough times the tightest position will become the looses as you can tighten it a bit further. It does not have any impact on performance if its loose or tight. The Ops can will require their mount and a specific barrel profile... the SPR/M4 can be had at lower than MSRP and the extra mount will fit any .750 and smaller profile barrel and only costs $125 MSRP. The SPR/M4 is a MUCH simpler solution since there are no other cans that will fit what you want.
