Tax is paid on the lower which has the serial number and thus the registered part. I could sell you the upper with no paperwork but if you buy the lower, the tax would be due. I hope this helps.

Anyone need an M4?
I'm gonna get a couple of these for some guys at work for duty guns. Any interest? They are SWAT trade in guns at a great price. These are Colt LE6933s and are very lightly used- only a few magazines put through each one. Most display very minor handling wear (which varies from unit to unit.) They s...

I bought two of them from a guy on HKPRO for $125/ea/shipped. Pretty nice. Very tight. I plan on using one with a dediated .22 upper.

Does anyone know where a fella might be able to get his hands on the short carbine buffer tube and buttstock that LWRC uses on the UCIW? I'm thinking about trying to shave a few more inches off my very-SBR M16. Here's a photo of the UCIW: http://www.machinegunsplus.com/sites/machinegunsplus/uploads...

I don't understand either. But it's true. Even put the can on a Walther to try and it worked fine. Very odd.DustyJacket wrote:Since the barrel does not move, I can't imagine how a can is making this happen.
In fact, the can should maintain more blowback preassure and make it function faster.....

I hate to say it but it could also be a limp wrist. My TB Mosquito Range Program gun from Sig has eaten everything I have shot through it - with can and without can. Doubt it. I've been shooting 30+ years so I know proper grip. Plus we had more than one experienced shooter try it. I'm betting on th...

Re: Is it hard to become a class III dealer?
Once the FFL/SOT is approved, you can purchase anything on a Form 3 or 4 and add it to your inventory correct? Does the transfer occur before the ATF approval? You don't have to pay the $200 tax to go into your inventory if you do it on a Form 3 right?

Outback II problems
I have an Outback II and just mated it to my Sig Tactical Mosquito. The can is threaded 1/2X28 so I had to use an adater. I used a genuine Gemtech adapter for what it's worth. The Sig won't cycle reliably now. Every 2-3 rounds it just fails to cycle. Pull the can off and the gun runs fine. Any ideas?

I'm in the same boat trying to use a 1/2X28 can on my 13.5x1mm 226 bbl. Anyone find a source for an adapter?
