How would the carbon fiber hold up to beign threaded for aluminum end caps.

What caliber you talking about? I have made carbon cans for .22 rimfire and 9mm. My design uses an aluminum spacer so there is very llittle area where the burning hot gases can come in direct contact with the carbon tube. 22 rimfire probably would never produce enough heat to damage the carbon tube...

I used it. It leaves a very ruff satin finish. I dont know how it will last as I have onlyhad it on the can for about a month
