I started with a 9mm suppressor and 5.56 for my AR, then I had to get one for every caliber I own...then multiple copies.
For 300BLK I use my 308 suppressors. They are heavier but it works.

XMas Cheer URX
Hi guys, been a couple years. I was digging in one of my safes this weekend and came across my Xmas Cheer parts from 2010 (wow that long ago?). Anyway, I was traveling at the time and missed out on the URX release. Anyone have a line on one so I can put this puppy together? I think mine is a 10/11.5...

These people live in their heads. Of the handful of MDs I know personally, all of them throw their unwanted JAMAs right into the trash.

Re: SilencerCo Omega Blows Off Gun and Ruins Mule Deer Hunt!
Pretty much every manufacturer is going to have limits on their "implied warranty" of loss to repair or replacement of the product. You will need to talk to your attorney to see if you can overcome this by proving other elements were in play that may let you overcome it. Not an easy thing ...

Re: Suppressed AR and dirty 223: how often to clean and what lube?
If I shoot suppressed, I clean the gun when I'm off the range. It can be 5 rounds, it can be 1200 rounds. If I'm shooting extended periods (like the 1200 round day), I'll lube the gun every 400 - 500 rounds. That's just what I do.
I do not use steel cased ammo.
I use Mobil 1 for lube.

Re: Backpacks
My take on SHTF backpacks are that they should not be too big. You want to stay low key, mobile, and not carry unnecessary crap. Expedition style packs are out. A cheap backpack is out because the build quality is laking you don't want it to come apart on you. I like a good quality day pack no more ...

Re: WTK - Different methods of carrying for CCP
Daily carry I do 4 or 8 o'clock with IWB or OWB holster (full sized pistols). If I have to hide it because of clothing limitation ankle rig (think G27/G29). I use the undershirt carry occasionally and you are right on -- need 2-3 of them for rotation. But I don't wear it everyday so it's okay. The g...

Re: AAC Titan QD on .308 rifle
It depends on the barrel and can vary depending on the ammo you are using. We have a Sako TRG-42 338 LM that has a shift of 2cm DOWN at 100m. So all you do is dial up 0.2 mil. On a Sako TRG-22 308, it has a shift of 9cm DOWN at 100m. On an AI it was 2cm right and 3cm down at 100m. All shifts are rep...

Re: Montana Gold Bullets?
Montana Gold bullets that I used were jacketed bullets. Their jacket is bronze composition instead of copper composition. Years ago when I was a volume shooter I did not like the idea of copper washed or plated bullets -- they were offered by various manufacturers as a "low cost" option to...

Re: Need suppressor recommendation for a 338 Lapua bolt gun
We have both the AAC Titan QD and Shark Manufacturing's JAWS on our TRGs and AIs. They are both great cans and I would recommend either of them without reservation. Thunderbeast has a great reputation on Sniper's Hide. I also know Ray and Zak Smith shot a lot of 338 LM in the early days so their can...

Machine gun trumps SBR requirements, if the DIAS is in the lower, you don't need a SBR stamp.
BUT if you take the sear out, the < 16" barrel upper has to come off the lower too . . . .

There is a product called Armorcore that you might want to look into for this project. My architect turned me onto a similar product when we discussed building a "safe room."

Re: E-mail Bomb – Over 1,000,000 Pro Gun Emails to Legislatu
I'm always skeptical of e-mails, they are easy to delete. That's why that mail-a-brick to Washington idea a few years back from Arfcom on the border fence and a program in Los Angeles where residents sent toilet scrubbers to the mayor was so great, they can't hide it. Hmmm... what can we send them t...
