Re: Rimfire or 5.56 can on 22 Hornet?

I thought about trying that with mine, maybe next weekend. I use a Liberty Kodiak on my Hornet. Only have an old heavy YHM Phantom with mount to try. Have to see if it makes a difference,,,

Re: Is it worth it to upgrade a Spectre

Use the Warlock 2 on an SBR 10/22, same end cap. Don't like it because it gets snagged on things, clothes, pack, etc,,,

Re: 44 Mag Subsonic-Which powders ?

Ruger 77/44 with SRT Arms integral suppressor and 1:11 Douglas match barrel Wondering if anyone has any data on IMR 4227 with 300gr bullets subsonic Don't have any actual data, as I don't own a chrony. But I've played around with 300gr sierra bullets with the IMR 4227. 19gr was subsonic. I have the...

I did both. .357 is a bit quieter, but a 300gr .44 mag bullet hits harder,,,

Re: 9mm pistol cans on 357/38 rifles; who's doing it?

I do it with a lever gun, Marlin/Trident. I tried to use heavier bullets (200gr), but they ended up being too long to cycle in a lever gun. So I stick with 158gr subs now,,,

Re: 357 lever and Octane? Quieter than semiauto pistol?

I have one, am using an SWR trident on it. It is fun to shoot. With some load work, a good quiet load can be found. I tried some 200gr TMJ bullets, but just couldn't get them to work out. In special cases, I got pressure signs before they got fast enough. Got one stuck in the barrel. In Mag cases, t...

And I thought it was just me. It seems to run better when I download the 7 rd mag to only 6 rds + 1 in the pipe.
Tried that today, worked well. Thanks,,,

Hi Desert Dog has threaded models ready to go for $487 (Inox in stock, $467 for black but it's out of stock) http://hi-desertdog.com/handguns-silencer-ready-/beretta-/bobcat-21a-silencer-ready-inox-ss-22lr.html Might be your best bet unless you can find one on the cheap used or something. Re: 200gr Speer TMJ in .357 mag rifle/Trident?

Finally got out to try it. After a mishap, got one stuck in the barrel. Got up to 5.6gr of unique out of a special case. Still only doing about 750 fps. No pressure signs, and bullets are stabilized. Need to bump it up to 1000 fps and see,,,

Thanks,,,

Thanks, mocked one up in a piece of mag brass. The cannelure makes it way too long to feed. So will have to try in special brass I think.

Re: Ever wonder how often some of these goobs are calling NF

Probably just as many people, obsessing over how to shame people into not calling the BATF for an update. Because they think it slows down an already extremely slow process. The slower they go, the more calls they will get. The only part of the process they are efficient at, is taking your money. Oh...

Could be due to the big silencer shoot they have been advertising, taking up all their time. Or getting all the newly manufactured Spectre II's and Warlock II's out the door. I am waiting for info as well, since they said info would be given shortly after SHOT. For me, cost will play a big factor in...

Re: YHM 5.56 Phantom SS QD

Mainly for the money and time savings. If I had to do it over again, I would skip the .223 can and just get a .308 can. Multi-purpose cans appeal to me more these days. I use my SS Phantom on a 10.5" and a 12.5" AR platform. It works fine, it's kind of heavy, but still a decent can. That's...
