http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/06/23/distillery-warehouse-collapse-9000-bourbon-barrels-crash/ I don't drink, but I know that many of you do, and are in mourning. Half of the historic Barton 1792 Distillery storage facility in Bardstown, KY collapsed, destroying 9000 barrels; a...

Interpol to FBI to local LE- to our son (big brother is watching)
I posted this just now to another similar gun forum but thought it applicable to post here too. I'm still trying to wrap my head around all this. Our 28 y.o. son is really into online gaming. Some I don't like due to the violent nature but he is living in his on place, has a job, etc. Last night loc...

Re: SBR running super hot with silencer
Typical length for the manufacturer to do any warranty work is minimum of 8", some 9" with 5.56/.223. 7.5" is really to short for routine rapid fire, mag dumps with a can. Might be prudent to check with the can manufacturer to see what they recommend.

If you can possibly stear away from anything with LH threads it would save a lot of aggravation. I don't know about Omega but all my cans have RH threads. Tightening one loosens the other. I have an HK 45 that came with LH threaded barrel. Only can that requires blue loctite.

Could be they are actually having to put in a full day of work for their pay. I had to do a clinical rotation at a VA hospital once. My supervisor punched in at 8:00. Then had breakfast, read the paper, 2nd cup of coffee. Saw the first patient about 9:30.

Much of the problem lies with birth control and the imediate gratification sex provides. It is hard to pull youself out of the muck when you have kids needing the basics of life. When you have 14 year olds having babies the cycle keeps going.

Sounds like this is your first an only can. When you call, be polite but say you waited the better part of a year, bla, bla. You know the pitch. If they email you a shipping label ask them if it is overnite. Most will fix it for free, or at least that would be what I would expect. Most likely they w...

They could be using pistol gas systems instead of carbine gased system. Makes a big difference.

Saw the mdel for the new Presidential lemo
More like a lemon for the tax payers. This thing has been in planning for 8-10 years. RPG proof, gas proof. Even has a medical unit with couple pints of President's blood type.

Re: Taking Citigroup and Bank of America to the woodshed for political moves
Time to check who supplies credit cards and change if necessary. If you pay your bill on time in full, your actually hurting the company. I might OPEN an account with these guys. How so? They charge the vendo a fee to use their card, usually 4% or more. Then there are people like me that pay their ...

Re: Best 9mm Suppressor for AR-9 Direct Thread?
Check out features you needs instead of brand. Cheap price would be last on my list. Small enough diameter to fit under your rail. Light weight. Something you can dis-assemble for cleaning. My 9 mm AR suppressed is a hoot for plinking. 147 gr stays subsonic. I use Colt magazines. They are $99.00 for...

Re: SUPPRESSOR FOR THOMPSON CENTER ''COMPASS'' 6.5 CREEDMOOR
If you have never handloaded before, you might need to think buying a bolt gun in 300 Blackout for subs. You can buy factory loaded sub ammo. 6.5 Creedmoor is a lot of brass volume to try and get consistent subs. There probably is a 6.5 Creedmoor forum around that can give you advice. I love reloadi...

Super pumped about it. No worries comes the long wait This is my first can, is there any advice you can give me? Also are there any db stats available yet? Ratings based on db numbers shouldn't be given a lot of weight in comparing cans. There are just to many other factors that come into play. Bar...

Re: SUPPRESSOR FOR THOMPSON CENTER ''COMPASS'' 6.5 CREEDMOOR
Contact Liberty Suppressors. Their Mystic X is now rated for up to 300 Win Mag and would probably work but they would know. Barrel length seems to be a big concern for most cans. I have an older Mystic and am waiting for a baffle strike so I can take advantage of their upgrade program. If I went for...

When you think things cannot be stupider I saw on FOX this morn video of a band of soon-to-be illegals marching through Mexico, with their help, to cross into US. Their call is that there should be no borders ... of course only for US side. Remembering 'Red-Team-Exercise' long ago let us start at l...

Gun confiscation story in Washington Post.
This has to do with a threat of suicide, not threat to public. Confiscating this guys firearms could have been the last straw that pushed him over the edge. If he would have really wanted to do himself, there are plenty of other ways. Of interest, this happened in Connecticut. A state that seems to ...

Re: Buffer Education
My understanding on buffers is it has to do with recoil. Using the appropriate buffer for the load will keep you from beating up your gun with different calibers. Pistol gas vs rifle gas makes a difference too as do suppressors. Also if you shoot subs you will need an appropriate buffer. My 9 mm AR ...

Re: Cop sues mother of 6 year old boy he killed.
I think a lot of the problem with LE in the USA is the low pay, long irregular hours, but mostly low pay. Most departments are willing to accept people that really should be in the sanitation department writing tickets for liter bugs. Every once-in-a-while the police department will get a reasonable...

This sounds like something you would read in a John Grisham book. A case like the lawyer, "The Bruiser" would have taken to turn a fast buck by getting a settlement. The protagonist in this case would be the bad guy.

Political anti CCW bumper sticker
Our small town has a community bulletin board. There was an advertisement where someone is making bumper stickers for sale that said "For your safety, bumper huggers back off. Concealed Carry person on board".
