Re: 9mm Suppressor recommendation

I own quite a few suppressors and my favorite 9mm dedicated can is the AAC Tirant 9 M. It has baffles which I prefer over louder monocores and I don't get any first round pop in the long configuration. I almost always shoot it wet with a little RemOil sprayed in both ends. The Tirant 45M on a 9mm h...

Re: 9mm subsonic mold

Im sorry to be asking but is swaging and sizing (running the bullets through a sizer) the same thing? Yes, if that is what you meant. I've been reading that a .356" mold would be better but I was thinking that a .357" would be fine, and better in case for whatever reason, the .356" wa...

9mm subsonic mold

Ive heard that using a .357 mold is the best bet because of selection of molds. If I plan on Powder Coating/ Hi-Tek coating them, would you recommend a certain featured bullet mold to aid the coating for suppressed subsonic shooting? Also, what weight do you think would be admirable for this goal? L...

( DB / Weight / $ ) Comparison Spreadsheet?

Just wondering if there is a table of all different types of cans, caliber specific that is stacked up against each other by the dB results, weight and the cost , etc.? Just makes it easier for prospective Owners to make a weighted decision based upon what they value most in a can and can make a inf...

I was about to say, one of my buddies said to look at the obsidian series. He suggests the 45 though. And then just change the endcap.

9mm Suppressor recommendation

Hello all! After shooting a friends Gemtech (GM-9?, its an old can that has cone baffles and not the new mono-baffle) on my pistol with subs, im looking at 9mm cans. (it was great! ran perfect and was super quiet) I would prefer a 9mm specific can, although if a 45-can, can get it close to the same ...

CZ rimfire question

Hey guys, Looking for a accurate .22lr bolt gun and have decided on CZ as the make, 455 series. Should I purchase the 455 American, comes threaded from the factory or would there be any benefit (barrel wise) to purchase the thicker barrel "Varmint" edition and pay a good smith to thread it...

60 degree cone baffles.

I have acess to a lathe but was wondering if anyoneknew where one could find a 1" 60 degree zero flute deburring tool? It would make it so much easier to get that inside angle just right. Form 1 budget information. :)

Re: Monocore for .308/300 blk.

Got one more question for yah. If I were to build a suppressor(form 1) and go with the monocore, what wall thickness would I need if the material was stainless steel? Most cans have the wall + the thickness of the baffle wall. As each baffle slides over the shoulder of the one in front of it, the wa...

Monocore for .308/300 blk.

To start, Thanks for all of the replies guys! Im looking at doing a 8" barrel or 10" so ill need it to bee either an 8.25 " or 6.25" shroud. Heres another thought. Permanently affixed meaning you need power tools to take the device off? I need to read more on the ATF site. maybe ...

Suppressor shroud

Hello Gents. Im looking to permanently affix a shroud to my barrel as to avoid paying another tax stamp. Want it to be light, so Aluminum is the way to go. I have plenty of welding experience. That being said, how would one go about "Pinning" an Aluminum shroud to a steel barrel? I thought...
