Re: Skoripion 32 acp can, help needed

Get the barrel threaded 1/2-28 and slap a 9mm can on it. plenty of good 9mm plans here that are not really heavy. Plus you will have a duel purpose can.

Re: Homemade quick detach?

For a 22 that's a awesome idea. I wouldn't think so for any larger caliber, your loosing at least 50% of the thread strength when you go interrupted.

Re: adding weight to the bolt

I thought you were talking about a 10/22. For a mark 3 pistol i would drill and tap a hole in the back of the bolt and bolt on some weight. you can fine tune the weight that way also.

Re: Need engineering sources recomendations. 300WM and 50bmg

For the 300 WM Build one 1.75x .065 diameter by 8-10 inches long and use that on the 243 also. Use 4-5 stepped cone baffles supported by spacers. http://www.silencertests.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=47456 Here is a great model to copy. And move up to the 50 cal when your confident in your ski...

What im wondering about is the repeatability of the poa, poi. Obviously this being a bolt action setup, it will be created for accuracy. Will a sighted in scope still be sighted in after a breakdown and reassembly. :?:
