WTS: SDTA 9.7" Option A tube w/endcaps - $200 shipped
Paypal FF preferred. Will ship USPS w/tracking info I bought this to try and do a goofball Form 1 suppressor for my M76 in 8mm but I don't think I'll ever wind up doing it, so I don't need the tube. Yeah, it's purple. I had hoped it would match the purplish tint some of the Yugo bluing has but.. yea...

Re: MAC-10 9mm suppressor clone build questions
Don't copy a MAC/Sionics suppressor, they only mark a moment in time and don't work nearly as well as the MK-9 coaxial suppressor. Full of K or cone they have rocked the buzz gun world for decades. You can't be a proper postmen without one!!! https://youtu.be/j6qJLbltzcQ https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

MAC-10 9mm suppressor clone build questions
Hello, I recently purchased my first MG, a 9mm MAC-10. I want an original two stage enormous suppressor for it, but so far have only found them in .45ACP, so my next best bet is to do a Form 1 for something that has the same look. I do not care about cloning the internals, I just want the same dimen...

Re: Form 1 OAL
The existence and widespread use of modular suppressors implies that going shorter is OK.

MAC-10 9mm original suppressor - where to find? Form 1?
I just purchased my first machinegun, a MAC-10 in 9mm, and I want an original style two stage suppressor for it. I have found a few in .45ACP but the thread pitch is wrong, I've been completely unable to find one in 9mm with the 3/4 x 10 thread pitch. I understand these cans are pretty mediocre in c...

WTB: MAC 10 9mm original suppressor
I recently purchased my first MG, a 9mm MAC-10. I'd like to get one of the original style powder springs/RPB/SWD monster cans, you know, the one that is almost a foot long and has the wider front section. I don't know what to price these at, since I've heard some people give em away for the cost of ...

I am hearing that these are better than the SPC cones, but they are heat treated stainless. That sounds H E A V Y by the time it's full.

Re: 8mm Mauser Form 1 can
So I'm finally getting around to buying the 9.7 1.75" tube and blank endcaps (thanks bidenbux). Still looking for a machinist to custom tap the endcap. I'm looking at SPC since they have cones for this, but they've got the "pro" cones and 50' cones. Which one should I go with, and, in...

Re: 8mm Mauser Form 1 can
I think I’ll go with the SDTA A cell tube and two blank endcaps. My first challenge is to find a machine shop willing to measure the flash hider threads then drill and tap and endcap for it. From there I can mount the assembly on the flash hider and see how much movement I’ve got. If it seems to loc...

Re: 8mm Mauser Form 1 can
Thanks for the detailed information guys, that’s pretty much the exact sort of input I’ve been looking for. I’ll have to do some measuring but I believe if I do a 10” can I’ll be able to get quite a few baffles in there. Based on your input I think I’ll trash the 8” idea and go to a 10” can. I’m sti...

Re: 8mm Mauser Form 1 can
Thanks for the reply. 1: So even with the interrupted threads that only really stick out on the top and bottom of the flash hider, it should be OK? I'll throw a pic at a different angle at the bottom. 2: If this was your can, would you stick with a D cell or would you marginally go up in size? 3: So...

Re: 8mm Mauser Form 1 can
If I had a machine shop make me a precise donut of sorts whose OD was the suppressor tubes ID, and whose ID was the tip of the flash hider's OD held in place between the baffles and the front of the can by a spacer tube, do you think that would be enough to hold support the body of the can? Referenc...

8mm Mauser Form 1 can
Hello gents, I'm reposting this thead from a couple forums that don't seem to have the userbase or many folks who have made F1 cans before. I have a Yugo M76 kit that I am slowly working towards getting built, about to place the order for the receiver and I'm on the backorder list for a GM barrel. T...
