Thanks Capt, I will probably have to buy parts from the suppliers as I don't have access to a local machinist. I do have a drill press, So I think I will be able to complete it. Like you say I don't feel comfortable with the K cups even though they do the best job. I think I can do the clipping more...

I have been searching online and reading many threads here. Yet I am still a bit confused on the legality of end caps I have read that it is legal to have different end caps for a form one can, say in different calibers, if said end caps are NOT the piece that secures the baffles in place to constit...

ok, So after further reading I'm thinking I want a more robust can than will handle the occasional mag dump. :) Seems for 9mm the real decision is k-cups vs radials, then with the radials I should do progressive spacing and clipping ala Rusty? Bigger is better? I'm guessing since I have a 8.3" ...

Hey Everyone, Newb here looking at designing a can for my AR9 pistol build. Was thinking of a 1.5 x 7 or 8" SDTA Ti Tube filled with radial SS cups. Direct thread 1/2 x 28 mount. A 1" spacer after reading on here to keep the blast chamber small for pistol calibers. Does it make a differenc...
