Can you smash an AK magazine into the earth for prone shooting or will it cause malfunctions?

Ok I’m just getting back in to archery after a few year hiatus. Been seeing a lot of people use the hand held release compared to the strap style i always used.
Is there a big benefit to the hand held style over the strap style? Sorry if a dumb question.

Can anyone tell me the outside diameter of the trilug portion of a GSL phoenix? I have an upcoming project and the phoenix would be perfect but I need the OD to be smaller than 1.5 inches.

Hello, I got an old shotgun from my grandfather when he passed and I’ve broken it down for cleaning but can’t seem to get it back together. I can’t find any information online and was wondering if anyone could help or recommend a gunsmith in the dfw area.

Trying to get on the water asap, can I temporarily put one on that's a little big? Not fitting wize but the actual guide. I don't have many options but wait a while or have the local shop do it but the smallest isn't ment for baitcaster rods.
