There is a Gun Show today in Lewiston ID,

Not too far of a drive for you?

it drives me nuts how they (ATK) makes primers 100 feet outside city limits, yet they can't seem to get them in the hands of people nearby.

I remember reading about a sonar type machine that gave you a profile of if the jacket was completely concentric. Yea it was about $800, but it would make sure you didnt have flyers. I personally like to do use the FL sizer just enough to apply pressure to the shoulder, but not move it more than a c...

Cabelas has the RCBS Rock Chucker reloading kit on sale right now.

Add a trimmer, auto primer, and components and you are good to go.

Then you could always use the piggyback conversion if you want progressive.

Plus buying RCBS/CCI?Speer keeps my neighbors here in Lewiston employed

those cb longs in a rifle with a suppressor are crazy quiet. I went to a silencer demo, and it sounded like an airsoft at most

how thin of a barrel could an extension be welded to? I have a little .380 saturday night special, and it is louder than a freaking cannon. I think a small suppressor could bring it down to a reasonable db level though

This is a good idea. If i had the caliber's, i might give it a shot. However, Tuition calls for me, and therefore i am limited in my 2nd amendment funds, and interesting ventures will have to wait

Damn. I guess I must be the lucky one all around. I also bought a little jiminez arms JA-380 (saturday night special if ever) for $74 on gunbroker, and the damn thing refuses to fail. I must be gifted by god to not have any problems where it seems everyone else does (knock on wood x100)

Good P22 Stories?

So I was wondering if I was the only person on this site who has not had a bad experience with a P22. I have shot close to 2000 rounds since my last cleaning, and I have only had one failure to fire, which was in the first 50 so it doesn't reflect dirty performance. I also don't have accuracy issues...

Well I don't know what to say to the guys with bad experiences, but I have a p22 with the short barrel, and I have yet to have it jam, or any misfire of any sort. I have close to 3000 rounds through it varying from cb longs, to cci stingers. Everything feeds cept the CB's, but that is to be expected...

I HAVE TO TALK QUIETLY BECAUSE IF I TALK TOO LOUDLY THIS GUN WHICH IS THE MOST AMAZING GUN EVER WILL KILL ME, BUT THIS IS STILL A SERIOUS SITUATION SO I'M GOING TO BE PRACTICALLY SHOUTING, JUST QUIETLY I was not in a good mood because I had a little fiasco purchasing .380 ammo today, but then I rea...

I have had problems with 9mm carbines and handloads not having enough gas to exit the barrel. A slower powder cleared that problem right up Would you mind giving me an example of something to avoid? I'm currently loading for 9mm in a 16 inch AR15. 4.2 grains of Unique under a Hornady 147 XTP gives ...

I would just use .38 special loads that use slower burning pistol powders . With suppressors you typically want to use the faster powders. The reason being that you need less of a faster powder to get the same velocity, as compared to a slower powder. Less powder equates to less gas volume for the ...

Problems with necks splitting?

So I purchased 3 boxes of hornady 32 gr. vmax, factory loaded ammo, for my .204 Ruger. I then have reloaded the cases 4 times, using starting loads (groups around .5 MOA on a bad group), and only neck sizing. After the 4th firing, 27 of 60 cases have split necks. I thought Hornady had higher quality...

I would just use .38 special loads that use slower burning pistol powders. Load up a range of expected velocities, and fire from fastest to slowest, you will hear once you drop below the speed of sound. then stick with that load if it is accurate.

58 grains of H4350 behind a 75 grain Vmax in a .25-06. I hit a badger in the head, and there was no exit hole. Tears squirrels apart.

But in general Vmax are the best in my experience. That 32 grain .204 completely disintegrates upon impact
