Powerbars now come in gel packets so you don't have to worry as much about it melting.
TASTE them first, some of the flavers blow. Chocolate still tastes like dog food to me.

It is nice to see action from Americans.
This is the America I grew up in and the people that made it great.
Enough of the reality TV junkie loser generation.

I think there is a problem with people who get off on power. I have been in countries where I have been granted significant power over the peasants because we served our function: I can cross road blocks, carry weapons authorized only for the presidential service detail, and basically do whatever th...

Shark manufacturing is a manufacturer and has some exceptional cans. Re: Is the Dillon XL 650 Worth It?
If you have crimped 223 brass it will take an extra step. I use the Dillon Super-swager. Once you have removed the crimp here is my 223 setup on the 650. Set up two tool heads. Head 1 for case prep (deprime, full length size, trim to length): Station 1: Full length sizing & deprime Station 2: Em...

Re: Is the Dillon XL 650 Worth It?
Extruded "lincoln log" powders like 4064 sucks when you throw through a volume hopper. Going from memory I got variances of 0.3, most of the time it is less. For "precision" stuff I use the RCBS Chargemaster and it really slows things down. Some guys use two of them to keep thing...

Re: Is the Dillon XL 650 Worth It?
Congrats. If you polish the powder bar (I also put some dry lube on it) the press will run smoother. Develop a good stroke and you can consistently throw to +/- 0.3 grains even on tough extruded powders like IMR 4064 or Varget.

Re: AAC TiTAN 338 review?
A while ago Robert posted renderings of the Titan's core. I found out about this suppressor here in 2007 and had to wait an extra year for the next run which is why I ended up with a 2008 can. When I was buying it they had two different diameter tubes for the Titan. The screw on model used a larger ...

Re: AAC TiTAN 338 review?
As far as I know there is only one core for the Titan-QD. I know the thread-on version has larger diameter tube and volume so I expect it to be quieter. Maybe one of the AAC experts here can chime in. 308 sounds great through the can. Many people have observed the sound of the bullet hitting the pap...

I've had one (TiTan-QD) since 2008 and shoot it on 338LM and 308 bolt guns. I have not been shooting much the last few years so probably only put about 30k full power rounds through it. We just ordered another one last year and are still waiting for the Form 4 to come back. POI shift is 0.8MIL strai...

Re: M4-2000 in 6.8 spc worth it?
Tough call. I have the SPR/M4 in 223 and 6.8. For 7.62 I use the SCAR-H-SD. The SCAR-H-SD is bigger and heavier than the SPR/M4. I would not want it on my 223. Have not shot the 6.8 for a while but I do recall the 6.8 SPC SPR/M4 being heavier than the 223 version. When I shot them side by side I cou...

Rookie. I remember reading this stuff years ago.
You want PVC Tubing, cosmoline or other dry bags, and a lot of metal scrap scattered all over the area where you *might* be burying your "Geocache."

Do you think they are going to publish the results now?
When I first heard of this poll we were at 40% NO. When I voted no it was up to 65% and now we are at 74 or 75% NO. This is clearly not what they want to see.

I used to carry Emerson Commander as part of my EDC. Stopped using it about 15 years ago. Three instances (including myself) of the blade opening up in my pocket. I'm not a GLOCK geek so keep that in mind. I own Gen 2 and Gen 3 guns. Gen 2 guns have no finger grooves, no tac light mount cutout. Most of mine are Gen 3 (finger grooves, tac light mount cutout on the frame forward of the trigger guard). On gen 3 guns, if the finger grooves fit your hand you are g...

I used Foul Out for years on my SiG rifle, never thought about using it on a can.
It does get the barrel very clean. Not sure how it would work on AL tho.

A lot of people like to project their thinking onto what they see or read. I've noticed a good number of folks over the years that want to be special (i.e. I'm better than you, I care more than you, etc.) fall into this category. Somewhere along the line these people got it into their heads "or...
