Re: New 45 suppressor released today
You would think that someone would standardize the pistons on suppressors so they could all save money on R&D and the money of making a "new" one from scratch each time, it would save us money too in the long run. That piston looks a lot like a silencerco. I'm looking for a pistol can ...

I'm hoping suppressors come off the NFA because I want one of the Maxim cans that will suddenly be found.

how would it compare to a Armegeddon gear or a Tab? I'm not a mag dump kinda guy so I dont really need a SR-71 material cover. I ask you because you should know about heat.

41P actually helps because it added extra money to the budget for the ATF to add more examiners and fix the efile. if anything the stupid solution to attacks where people shoot multiple people is to make it easier to transfer a Machine gun!

Saker 762 on an AK, questions on adapting it.
I have an AK on order and want to dedicate it for the veterans group I help with (I'm a wounded Vet as well but want to help) I was thinking of using the AK on some of the hunts that require a 30 caliber rifle. (300AAC is an option but expansion is an issue) I want to mount the Saker 762 on an AK pi...

Re: New suppressor from Ruger....Ruger?
Pretty sure this is a big step towards getting suppressors taken off the NFA list. I have worked in 2 congressional offices, money gets things pushed through, not in bribes but in added revenue in the congressional district. This is a huge amount of potential for jobs and skilled labor commitments, ...

Re: Will there ever be a Salvo 20?
I wish they would, the 20ga 3" stuff is nice, its low recoil but has enough punch to turkey hunt with. I just dont think it has caught on enough to make a suppressor for. I'd love one though, smaller, lighter would be so much better than the huge Salvo 12.

That FAMAS is a work of art in being complicated, it runs like a Mexican Wristwatch. I had one for a day and decided I'd rather carry a rubber one than a real one, at least the rubber one wouldnt fall apart when I hit someone with it. My friend who is now an American citizen served in the Legion bef...

I used a B&T on a few missions in Afghanistan (Loaner from another team) it was very nice and it was a very well built can, I have a Saker 7.62 and think the B&T was better made, the french ones however were horrible. We shot one out every 2 months on a 5.56 with a 10" arrel.

Re: Greetings! Gummy ammunition - will it be a negative or positive?
I have a P22 and use it with a HTA B22 (Wet because its a wet only can) with it I use the CCI Quiets and Standard Vels when I run out, I can tell a huge difference with the Quiets. I picked the HTA b22 because it was the smallest can I could find at the time that didnt use wipes. I kinda wish I had ...

I kinda got the idea from their rep last year that one was coming and I think its great that they are finally doing this. The baffles look kinda like National Geographic boobies  any idea when they are shipping? you gotta buy that one, or sell it to me (you know I'm local) if not I want to bu...

Want to make an SBR from a DRACO what length
always wanted an AK variant SBR because of the portability and firepower. I was looking at a draco as a basis for one and didnt know which one I should use. A buddy has an Approved stamp for his but still hasnt done it so I cant see his yet. I want something that will fit in a small bag (Gym Bag sty...

it knocks my 6.5 Grendel and my beowulf down to a very manageable amount, actually timed my Grendel perfectly with it, it slowed the BCG down and I sent my brass right where it belongs, now that I have the Saker it might need a gas block to adjust it further. I havent shot it much with the Saker bec...

The rights restorations thing is a state issue and has been ruled on by the supreme court in the 1960's... I helped a family member who was convicted of public endangerment in the 1970's for drag racing as a kid restore their rights. It was a pain in the butt because you need the original charging d...

The problem with trigger liability was from a test one of the sig employee did with a RDIAS, it sort of locked in the go position until the ammo ran out. most people will not have a problem, I have shot one with a CMC trigger in it and it shot and bump fired very fast. It was very gassy I agree, eve...

Re: 300 blk vs .308
the difference in sectional density .140 vs 300 should be somewhat compensated by the diameter of the bullet. I know its a complicated trig question and the factors are infinite but there should be very little difference considering the fact that most people accept the 357 magnum as acceptable on sm...

Re: Help with choosing First Rifle Can
i'm not a fan of the specwar because the Saker goes on easier and the omega is nicer/more flexible. I look for the Specwar to go away in the future, it makes sense considering the price point and the features... its not as durable as the saker but not as flexible as the Omega. It would make more sen...
