Re: Scorpion questions
Yeah I thought about that but some of the guys have hooks and that same one slipped at our last event on a loaner some brought. maybe I can have one made with more of a hook on it to engage better, We store them all locked open so hopefully they will loosen up... its tighter than any of the HK's I h...

I have a little problem pulling the charging handle (I have reduced ability in my right arm) Does anyone have any tips on replacement parts to ma...

Re: Form 1 SBR status update question
I had some major setbacks lately, my buddy with the RZR and best friend in the world passed away, He and I went through multiple deployments together, hunted every weekend we could get away and the VA ended up killing him with a drug interaction. I have been trying to get things straight with his fa...

Re: considering 9mm AR PDW build...
I dont own but have shot and handled a few of the different pdw stocks. They really do look small util you realize that the interface is kinda a big block on the back of the receiver to adapt it. I didnt notice it until I shot a scorpion that had one on it. I looked back at my buddies pdw stock and ...

Re: Form 5330.20 required with a trust?
hmm, i wonder if it was something new or if it was a disinformation thing. I know how to classify and compare prints and have even testified in federal court about a match on a partial we found on an ied. Im pretty damn sure I can roll prints, I have been doing it since 1993 when i interned at a dep...

Planning a trip to Missouri from florida with an SBR and Suppressor
Any idea on legality in the states in between? I have seen maps that said Alabama is a no SBR state but not sure I thought I saw they were repealing that but cant find reliable info. I know Illinois is a no-go but I'm not going that far north. I'm also traveling with a crossbow but I'm pretty sure t...

I called and asked, they said you cant do your own, even if your federally certified. Its to add another identification step.

In July you will, also a damn fingerprint card that my C-LEO has stopped allowing his deputies to do without a letter from an employer or agency requiring it for a job application. I have to go to the next county to pay $20 to have them print me even though I went through Federal Print examiners cla...

they may not catch it, my last 3 form 4's were approved without a signature, I didnt notice until I got it back and none had signatures, the dealer said, hurry and sign these things before they figure it out.

Re: 9mm subgun suppressors - what's good these days?
The Hybrid is worth a look, I might get one for my Scorpion because I cant justify buying a dedicated can that costs more than the Subgun. The hybrid is a nice compromise.

Re: Question on legal limits of bore clearance?
I think the one part of the Evidence most are overlooking is on the other side of the Can, What did you thread it for? .578, odd for a 22lr. not a crime. What caliber was the firearm that you threaded it onto. 45acp Hmm sounds like a violation. What Caliber does it say in your application. 22LR Yep,...

What he said^ Never took one apart and saw it had rusted even after a month of amphib work in Columbia. The suppressor threads will rust if they are not protected though.

NFA tracker says I was supposed to get it by the end of this month but Its over and no stamp for me... Re: Review: Silencerco Hybrid
I'm waiting for silencerco to stop making new models just to make new models... I'm wondering, do they just have 10 sided D&D dice and roll them to come up with new models or are they really looking at the market and saying, "look this company makes this, lets make one too." They have ...

I put one in on January 29th, still not completed. Hang in there bro. Its coming soon, just get the thing engraved and put it away until you get surprised, or like me, you worry everyday until it gets approved and you check 2 times a day. :D I'm anxious because its going to be for other vets to hunt...

Re: Anyone suppress an M60?
seen it done in Afghanistan, it didnt seem that quiet, I didnt have the mount for our MK48 or I would have tried it. The 60 always seemed like a Cement Vibrator that shot bullets also to me. It was so damn abusive to the operator to fire compared to most of the newer stuff. The MK48 was very nice fo...

timing adapter
I have a Saker762 and my buddy put on the hider/adapter with a crush washer, I took it off because I didnt know how he crushed the washer. I usually crush them in a press if I only have a crush washer but most of the time I use shims. This got me thinking, if its concentric why time the thing to beg...

Re: Any word on if the Sig SRD338Ti-QD is any good?
Wondering the same thing, in process of buying a new 338LM, on a Savage platform and want a can for it. It seems that its almost cheaper to build or buy a 50BMG than a nice 338. The Suppressor seems to be a little cheaper and thats why I'm leaning this way.

Re: Review: Silencerco Hybrid
My experience with shooting rifle cans is limited to my use in the military other than the ones I use now but I dont buy the Thin layer stuff that most people sell, we shot Surefire and AAC cans and after the Surefire can had a Catastrophic failure we cut it open to look inside and the inside was Ca...

I know this is old but is there anyone who knows about doing this? I was even thinking about either a taper pin or a set screw.
