Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Looking for a smooth operating magazine for a "De-Lisle" or Welrod type of firearm in .45acp, high capacity is not required.
I know the Colt type works with brisk operation, the opposite of stealthy.

There must have been improvements in design that makes for a super smooth reliable magazine.
I'm open to modifying a magazine or buying a high quality 1911 type if that's the best choice.
