Suppressor Cleaner & Solutions

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Suppressor Cleaner & Solutions

Post by Capt. Link. »

Suppressors are dirty and cleaning them can be expensive or damaging.I designed a inexpensive non sonic cleaner and am testing various aspects of this design. Basic details will be shared for the DIY folks.

This is basically a power washer.I need what cleaners you may use to test for effective & compatibility of the parts and devices being used.

If you have interest in this research make a comment.

I use aircraft grade Simple Green in my ultrasonic. It works OK, but not as well as I'd hoped.

Looking forward to your reports!
