I've done work photography work with 45 or so manufacturers within the firearm community, my images have been used for catalogs, magazines, covers, etc. I have also shot work for the US Military. I am prior service and a full time LEO.
I now also shoot and write for Military Times. My primary focus will stay with weapons, accessories and related equipment reviews. Manufacturers can reach me through any of the boards. Have something new? Let me know.

I borrowed one of the PRI triangular tubes for an article I was writing, but I was never able to actually install and use it. How are you liking yours?

Have only had two trips to the range with it and have not done any drills yet. Install was straight forward, the same as their round forearms. The triangle shape fits very natural in the hand. I find myself holding it just behind the rails, in front of the mag well. With the 14.5 barrel and the M4 2000, the magpul UBR ballances the rifle nicely.
That is damn sexy. I would prefer a pencil barrel profile and maybe another butt stock but I love the looks of it. Stickman, is the barrel mid length gas system? If so who is making them?

Stickman's picture is of a prototype BCM Dissipator upper. I have one too, but without the MOE handguards just yet. BCM hasn't yet scheduled them for production. They are a mid-length gas, 16", govt.-profile barrel.

They are slated for release before Summer 2011, I talked to Paul about it last week.

Cool!
Lots of people interested in these things. Hope, for Paul's sake, the real demand equals the internet buzz. I still don't frankly get the attraction for most people, but do see them as a niche thing. Good training aid for irons, which is what I'm using the one I have for now.
