So, are there any special needs that I gotta pay attention to? What should I prepare for ice fishing? Thank you so much.
Ice fishing is big fun! It helps to know the waters you fish to determine where the fish might be. Fish are lethargic in cold water so they don't travel far or chase bait fish so patients is a must. You need insulation from the ice so a wood pallet and box will help your feet and bum. Tip ups & a short rod are a must as is dressing warmly. Don't forget everything is colder on the ice. The biggest thing is safety------thin ice and thick are always present together. I don't venture out till pickup trucks are towing ice huts about.

The only reason after 243 years the government now wants to disarm you is they intend to do something you would shoot them for!
