SOCCOM 556RC on an HK MP7

Post by Patriot »

I have ordered a SOCCOM 556RC from Silencershop, and an HK MP7A1 from HK.

I want to mount the can on the gun (of course)...
Silencershop says there is a mount from Surefire for this, available to LE...
The guy I spoke with at Surefire is not aware of any such mount...

Please help!

Thanks! Doesn't the silencer leak gas out the back where the indexing lug should go?

I've tried for days directly with Surefire, and on two forums where they are active, and even have two dealers trying to figure this out for me...

Not a straight answer from Surefire yet. Screw Surefire. I'll just order the B+T from HK.

It doesn't leak as far as I can tell. I'm shooting 5.56 thru mine. I had it bored out and re-threaded to be pinned on a factory 14" Aug barrel because I couldn't find a Surefire Aug mount.

Works fine, just doesn't index. It also doesn't turn once mounted. I index it as if it had the lug and it stays in place.

Thanks for the info. I ordered the B+T, but I'll keep that in mind as a backup.
