OK, ordered the CH4D Whisper trim die for a Dillon Trimmer. Has anyone used this setup on a Hornady AP or a Lee single stage press? Any issues or useful setup information? I understand from some forum searches there are issues with the 550/650 toolheads. Jumping into the 300 blackout pool headfirst....
As an addon...Am I correct in thinking the trim die does nothing in the way of sizing. My Lee 300blk sizing die should size the case making a rather odd looking case. I then take the odd looking case and run it through the trimmer...
Loading .44 and .45lc I don't run into shoulder issues (other than when pulling a press handle). Having never done anything but straight walled cartridges is new to me.
