Like many states, NC is no longer issuing permits for new handguns. Even getting an old one from a private individual or family member is illegal.
What the heck?? Using Covid 19 as the reason.

That's news to me, but I haven't bought anything lately. NC is changing, and not for the better.
Eta, I'm in NC just never update my profile from previous state. Too many of us came from places like I used to live including a ton of commies.
