I'm considering the SiCo Warlock II for an ultra-light rimfire can.
My concern is the cleaning procedures for the aluminum baffles and tube?
What is the best method?

Re: Cleaning Warlock II Aluminum Baffles?
Soda blast, or good old fashioned elbow grease. I ended up cancelling a Warlock II , and got a Spectre II for ease of cleaning.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Re: Cleaning Warlock II Aluminum Baffles?
Trust us, stay away from aluminum baffles! Not worth it in the long run. That goes for any caliber out there.
Re: Cleaning Warlock II Aluminum Baffles?
The single best thing is regular cleaning and do not let crud build up. This is sound practice no matter what baffles are made of. I use same method regardless of material - a tumbler.JeffWard wrote:I'm considering the SiCo Warlock II for an ultra-light rimfire can.

My AL baffled Warlock is now 10 years old and almost as good as new.

Corn cob, and nutshell won't get the lead, and carbon off. SS pins, or brass are needed.
Here is a LONG thread you may find useful.

If it is just after a shooting session, corn cob works OK. I use stainless media. It works great.JeffWard wrote:That's what I was thinking... ^^This^^ is where I'm at.renegade wrote: The single best thing is regular cleaning and do not let crud build up. This is sound practice no matter what baffles are made of.
You clean, or should clean, your rifle after each session, so why not your suppressor.
Those that don't clean it for 2k rounds, and wonder why it doesn't come apart, get what they deserve. Same as those that pull a rifle out of a safe and wonder why it has rust on it.
Its called preventative maintenance for a reason!

Gonna have to somewhat disagree. If you find yourself spending more time cleaning/maintaining than shooting, literally, then something isn't right.T-Rex wrote:^^This^^ is where I'm at.renegade wrote: The single best thing is regular cleaning and do not let crud build up. I always use the car analogy. Everyone loves driving a clean, shiny car... but do they wash or change oil after every trip? Hell no lol.
I'm all for maintenance and care, but there's differences between being OCD, being practical, or just plain neglect.

Seal 1 has always worked for me. It keeps stuff from sticking somewhat and is pleasant to use.
