details please? that looks awesome.
Thanks!

It's a factory YHM 5.5 inch 9mm SBR. It basically consists of a standard YHM AR lower, standard YHM AR upper, YHM 5.5 inch 9mm barrel, and YHM pistol rail. YHM also uses a Hahn Precision bottom loading magblock and CMMG 9mm ramped bolt to finish things off. I also added an Aimpoint T-1 with a Larue mount, and some Troy, Magpul, BCM, KNS, and Noveske pieces. The mags I use are from Metalform.

The setup runs 100% and is a blast to shoot. Having the Osprey9 on it is only temporary as I'm waiting for the stamp for my SWR Octane9 HD. Once it comes back a 3-lug adapter will be going on the barrel and a 9 inch rail will be added. The Octane9 will be mounted using a 3-lug mount and will be sunk into the rail with about 4 inches of it sticking out the front.

I am a huge fan of pistol caliber SBR's with the rail covering most of the suppressor like what you are going to do, but I think I like the way you have it set up now better. That is one of the best looking pistol caliber SBR's I've seen and it give's me an idea for another build.

Thanks!

I keep going back and forth in my head about which route to take. I really love the SD look with the suppressor inside the rail. But, I've really come to love the current short setup. Without a suppressor attached its a real compact setup. Even more so than an MP5. I have about 2 months before the stamp for my Octane9 HD comes back. Maybe by then I'll have made up my mind.

Just got it together. Actually took longer to get the barrels from Storm Lake than the stamp! They are top notch barrels though and I wouldn't hesitate to order them again.

Since there's already plenty of Ruger MK pictures, I'll show off my recently threaded Contender with my Sparrow that cleared late December. Still waiting on my Form 1 to make this Contender an SBR.

Fireman, that's because you're not supposed to load HK mags they way they do in their brochures. "HK. No compromise... or customer service" :)

Thanks! But Im not done yet, lol. Just ordered a Geissele SMR 9.5" MKII rail. Hopefully I'll have time to install it this weekend. They Troy rail is nice but I also have it on 2 other AR's. I want something different for this SBR and the Geissele rail is badass!
