Scorpion S3 carbine into sbr

I have a scorpion carbine with a faux suppressor that I want to put a 7.75" barrel on with a suppressor. Does the sbr title or info need to be put on the barrel or the receiver, or does the nfa explain this somewhere. Just getting into this so have some things to learn.
