Quest rebuild

Post by happycamper »

Just had my Quest rebuilt and iIEEE very nice. Since it was all stainless I went back with the stainless baffles. It is quieter and FRP is hard to distinguish from succeeding rounds. I've shot it both on my Savage mark II and mosquito. I was really impressed with the difference the rebuild had on the mosquito! The black moly finish makes it look factory new. John really did an excellent job. Plus I was pleasantly surprised to find he included a pouch. Next I'll try it on full auto(which is why I went with the all stainless Quest) and post on the outcome. I haven't taken it down yet, waiting to put a few more rounds thru first, but am anxious to look at the baffles. Thanks John. Job well done. :D
