LH to RH thread adapter?

Post by slothead »

Guys, I have an HK USP Tactical and a suppressor that fits its M16x1 LH threaded barrel, but I understand that the more common 45 cal suppressor thread is .578×28 (and I am assuming it is a RH thread since nothing else was said). It seems to me that trying to adapt a RH to a LH thread (or vice versa) would just end up unscrewing one or the other of them. Am I wrong? I would love to be able to use my one suppressor on multiple pistols rather than getting more than one suppressor licensed, but I don't know if other pistols can provide the M16x1 LH threaded barrel.

What can? Most recent designs have a piston that you swap out for different thread pitches. I have multiple pistons for my Osprey to use on multiple hosts with different pitches.
