Surge 7.62 is home!

Post by roodyrocker »

Got the call today that my Tax stamp arrived. Picked up my Surge 7.62 tonight. Its out of NFA jail, WooHoo :D
It took nearly 5 1/2 months. I also got the 5.56/.223 end cap and mount. I will be using the Surge on my AR15's in 5.56/.223, 300 BLK, and Ruger Precision Rifle in .308 :)

Let me know how you like it, I ordered the same suppressor and it is currently serving time in "NFA Jail".

Definetly will do. Waiting for a bit better weather then I plan to put it on a Ruger Precision Rifle in .308 as well as AR15's in 300 Blackout and .223 :)

Sorry, haven't shot it yet. Besides weather being an issue, I'm limited at the moment on where to shoot it (outdoors). Soon hopefully however.

In many States, you can shoot on public lands such as along the roadside as long as you have proper backstop and don't shoot across the main travelled lanes of road.

What type of baffles does Surge have?

I don't think shooting along the road side is a great option for me. There is a public outdoor range available relatively nearby but nice weather and me getting out of work in time need to line up perfectly to take advantage of it.
The Surge 7.62 baffles are Stellite.
